Q: Can my tickets be refunded if I am unable to attend on the day?
A: Tickets are non-refundable, non-returnable, and non-transferable. The non-transferable rule is in place to help us stamp out organised touting.
Q: Can I bring my children?
A: Yes- we are a family festival, see the tickets page for details of purchasing family tickets. Please bear in mind this is not a crèche facility however.
Q: Will children be admitted on their own?
A: Under16s must be accompanied by an adult and will not therefore be admitted unless accompanied by a ticket holding adult.
Q: Why do I have to bring ID with me to the festival?
A: Only persons proving they are 18 will be served at the onsite bars. Stewards will also be patrolling the festival and may ask for ID when they see you drinking alcohol.
Q: Are animals allowed in?
A: Only guide dogs are permitted.
Q: Will we be able to purchase tickets on the gate?
A: Unfortunately tickets will not be available on the gate. Tickets can however be purchased on the day from the outlets detailed on the Tickets page.
The Music
Q: How long will each artist be performing for?
A: The length of each set will vary. On the main Stage set will vary from an hour or 75 minutes, acts on the Second Stage will play for approximately 30 minute each.
Q: What are the timings and running order?
A: The gates to the arena open at 11:00 am . The Second Stage will begin around midday with the main stage starting at 13:00 each day. The music will end at 10pm.
Getting To Livefest
Q: Will there be signposts from the station and main roads?
A: Yes, there will be signs from main roads and from nearby towns. For full directions and travel details please go to our Travel section.
Enjoying The Festival
Q: Can I bring a picnic?
A: Yes, festival goers are welcome to bring a picnic either to enjoy in front of the stage or in the specially designated Picnic area. High quality food will also be available from the festival traders inside the ground.
Please not the you are not permitted to bring Alcohol into the ground or any glass containers.
Q: Will there be any covered areas if it rains?
A: There are a various covered area including the Second Stage and the Bars.
Q: Will I be able to re-enter the site if I leave during the day?
A: No.
Q: Will there be seating?
A: The festival is all standing, and it is not possible to book seats, or to bring furniture into the arena.
Q: Can we take our own chairs?
A: We don't allow people to bring furniture into the main arena - as it would be a safety problem, and you wouldn't be able to see much anyway! Of course the various bars and catering areas have some seating available, and you're welcome to bring rugs or shooting-sticks, so you needn't be on your feet all day.
Q: Is there a central meeting point?
A: There is an information point at the Festival which you can use as a meeting point. You can also leave messages there for other festival-goers.
Q: Will there be medical support on site for emergencies?
A: Yes there will. St Johns Ambulance Service will run the medical tent for the duration of the day.

Disabled Facilities
Q: Will there be wheelchair access / disabled facilities?
A: We try to make the festival as accessible as possible to those with special needs. Those with an blue badge will be able to park in a special area .There is a wheelchair viewing platform in the main arena, and there are disabled toilet facilities in the arena and campsite. If you have particular needs, get in touch with us in advance. We'll do our best to help.
